  1. Hey Sophia,

I’m Daniel from the SLJ Blog commenting team. I’m looking forward to seeing all your amazing blog posts and I hope you’re enjoying your summer too.

Nice work on your Haiku poem, You’ve got the syllable pattern down perfectly and the poem has a sweet storybook style, I wonder who the poem is about?

    Great stuff Sophia,
See you later in the comments.

  3. Kia ora Sophia,

I really liked your haiku. It flows well and reminded me of the tv programme Sophia the First. Have you seen it? I like that it played on that and included your own name.

Keep up the great learning and blogging,
:) Sharon - Te Ara Tūhura Education Programme Leader

  4. Hi Sophia,
What a creative start to your summer learning. I like the way you have carried on the fairy tale theme from our PBL.

  6. Mōrena Sophia, Kiana-Marino here from the Summer Learning journey.

Tino pai! Great choice of words when considering the number of syllables you guys were appointed to use. I think this is a really cool and interesting haiku you have created. It makes me guess what more to the story there is. I think you could make a series of haiku’s this being the first, you could also think about the way you present your haiku’s, you could create your own drawings of the princess or use a background image for your haiku’s. What do you think?

Awesome blogging you have done, keep it up kotiro!

    Mā te wā,
    Kiana-Marino (SLJ)
